Automatic Action Retries After an API Error is Reported
Problem: Occasionally workflow action executions fail for various reasons that relate to temporary unavailability of the Shopify endpoint or another operation somehow interfered or a 503. Some of these reasons i attach in screenshots. There are some clear patterns that could be noticed.
Potential solution: Automatic retries - retry action if failed for example for unable to load refreshed data, or service in unavailable, or 503. Most of the times if i go to errors tabs and click retry the action after some time it succesfully triggers so these are temporary outages. That way the workflows will become more bulletproof.
This can even be a setting inside the workflows - automatically retry to execute action on fail for x amount of times.
I really hope and wish you find this idea good cause then the workflows become even more solid.
